Missions

Beacon Baptist Church (BBC) believes in the clear and unmistakable command in Scripture to preach and teach the gospel (Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8) of Jesus Christ. It is our firm conviction that this commission was given specifically to the local church. Therefore, it is our responsibility to God to spread the gospel where we are geographically located, as well as to all other nations, peoples, communities, and groups both near and far. Therefore, in compliance with the command of holy scripture, the local church is privileged to send and support God-called missionaries (Acts 13:1-3; 14:26,27; Philippians 4:10-18 2 Corinthians 11:8,9).

Through prayerful and financial support of these missionaries, BBC endeavors to convey the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to those who are in “the regions beyond” our immediate reach.

BBC currently supports 15 missionaries. These missionaries have ministries focusing on:

– Horry County

– Youth Prison Prevention

– Teens of America

– Home for Troubled Boys

– Translation of Sunday School Material

– Hispanics

– Underground Work

– Haiti

– Romania

– Netherlands

– Philippines

– South Africa

– India

– Thailand

– Christian Rights and Defense (CLA)

BBC is ever trusting the Lord to develop and expand its missions program by the support of new missionaries. As He directs we will continue to further our efforts to give His message of salvation to the world through missions.

If you are a missionary seeking a meeting with our church, please send us an email below with your information and we will send you a questionnaire as soon as we possibly can. Thank you.
